Featured Articles Procedure Change

Last Updated Jun 21, 2012
Until this week, any author wishing to modify an article that was being featured on our site had to send us an email to ask for permission. The original intent of this was to ensure that authors were not changing the content of articles for which we explicitly labeled as featured.
As it turned out, this method was not very practical. We have opted to move the restriction from featured articles.
When an author edits an article that is featured, its feature status is suspended until a site administrator reviews the article.
