Golden Outlook
From August 30 to September 12 our recon crew of seven (including three world-class paddlers) ran the George River from Indian House Lake to Kangiqsualujjuaq on Ungava Bay. Northern Lights, bears and caribou were the major highlights of a wonderful trip. We carefully mapped campsites, hazards, portages, and access points for the main expedition in 2006. That crew of 12 will include World renowned painter Robert Bateman and Smithsonian researcher Dr. Stephen Loring.

The trip was expensive and logistically difficult due to complicated transport into the remote George River that involved Trains Planes and Automobiles...and Freighters.
