About my art: I would describe my paintings as spiritual art and energetic imagery. My paintings are reflections of the changes I am going through - my spiritual aspirations and journey. I hope that they will uplift and encourage and bring joy to others. My message is simple - we are multidimentional beings who can free ourselves of our limiting beliefs - if we dare to face our fears. Colours are what I enjoy most about painting. Colours form a vibrational energy that the viewer can share. I`ve grouped my paintings into themes. I love runes, so Ive chosen runic symbols as themes.I like to describe the paintings with short poems called Haiku (a Japanese form of poetry). Many of my paintings are done in a triangular frame. For me, the triangle is symbolic of the many facets of human beings - the physical, emotional and spiritual. About me: I was born in South Africa in the Eastern Cape province and grew up in the small town of Oudtshoorn - part of the Little Karoo - a landscape of intense colours. I loved art and painting from an early age, but for years practiced it as a hobby only. For many years I worked in many different fields of the health industry. I became interested in alternative health - what attracted me was the holistic approach and that the person is actively involved in his/her own healing. I did various courses in energy work (Reiki, Shambhala). In 2006 I went through a healing crises - after examining my life, I decided to focus on using my gifts to celebrate life and to encourage others who have similar issues. I devide my spare time equally between painting and doing energy work. I do a combination of NES (new energy system) and Reiki plus acupressure.
