Judy Schrader
Judy Schrader has been devoted to art from childhood. She credits her artistic talent to her grandfather, Ernest Albaugh, a self-taught artist in his time. Judy combines her love for animals and the outdoors with her love of painting. Inspired by the raw beauty of wild animals and the sweet souls of the domestic animals she paints, Judy says “ I love bringing my canvas to life through the eyes of our animal friends.â€
Judy’s awards are many and include Best of Shows and First Places from many local and regional art shows. She has been exhibiting in juried shows and invitational exhibits such as “Images Regional Art Show†in State College, PA, the Pennsylvania Waterfowl Management Stamp Contest in Pymatuning, the “National Harness Tracks of America Art Show†in Lexington, Kentucky, the “National Nature Art Festival†in Jamestown, NY and was invited to the “PA Wildlife Rehabilitation Symposium†in State College, PA. Judy has received several Special Excellence Awards at the National Harness Tracks of America Art Shows.
